Over the past eighteen months I have written four, long analytic pieces for the Foreign Policy Research Institute (FPRI), a Philadelphia-based think tank. The articles all focus on the roller-coaster politics of Central Europe, an area of the world near and dear to me.
The latest of the four articles, focusing on the recent assassination attempt against Slovak Prime Minister Fico, was published on 22 July 2024 and can be found here. Please bear in mind that the FPRI articles are considerably longer than my regular missives published in the small-town newspapers of my New England region.
In other words, you really need to be interested in that corner of the globe to tackle the FPRI work.
Circling back to my newspaper articles, I hope to submit my next piece – the 3rd in the Challenges for the Next U.S. President series – by the beginning of August.
